Gomoa Central: Use Free Wi-Fi for studies, not pornography — MP Urges Students As he cuts sod for school projects

The Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central Constituency has urged students to make proper use of the free Wi-Fi facility provided in the constituency by using it for academic research and learning, rather than accessing pornographic content.

The MP said he had received complaints that some students were misusing the free internet facility by watching pornographic materials instead of using it for educational purposes and research.

He made the comments during a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of classroom blocks at Gomoa Aboso, Gomoa Oboase, and Gomoa Beseadze to improve teaching and learning conditions in the district.

According to him, the provision of free Wi-Fi was aimed at supporting students and residents to access information, conduct research, and enhance their knowledge.

The MP further pledged to bring more educational facilities and development projects to the constituency to improve the standard of living of residents and promote socio-economic growth in the district.

He called on students and residents to take advantage of government and community initiatives responsibly to support their personal development and the progress of Gomoa Central.

Meanwhile, the Odikro of Gomoa Aboso, Nana Afedzi Mensah VII, and the Gomoa Beseadze Kyedomhene, Nana Ewur, also expressed their gratitude to the Member of Parliament for fulfilling his campaign promises and assured him of their support.

In conclusion, the District Chief Executive for Gomoa Central, Hackman Kobena Aidoo, urged the chiefs of Gomoa to unite and support government projects, noting that division would hinder development.
