President John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 morning held a breakfast meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at No. 10 Downing Street in London.

The meeting formed part of the President’s engagements in the United Kingdom and focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring areas of mutual cooperation between Ghana and the UK.

Accompanying President Mahama were the Minister for Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson; Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare; and Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Ireland, Zita Sabah Benson.

The discussions are expected to further deepen economic and diplomatic ties between the two countries as Ghana seeks to attract investment and expand trade opportunities.
