“Check my record” — Prophet Uche defends his prophecies
The cleric claimed in a prophecy that although he is an Arsenal fan, the team would lose the trophy to PSG. However, he said God later revealed to him that numerous prayers from Arsenal supporters had reached Heaven and that mercy would be shown to enable Arsenal to win the title.
He said, “I am an Arsenal fan. When I was prophesying on that Sunday, I said that the cup was in the hands of PSG. PSG had won the Champions League trophy. But God told me many people were praying for Arsenal. A lot of petitions were coming to Heaven for Arsenal. Today is Saturday, and I am in Kumasi. I have seen that mercy has been shown to Arsenal. Then it changed from PSG to Arsenal. So all Arsenal fans should pray. I have not seen a football match with this much spirituality attached to it. It is serious. It keeps changing, but the mercy of God has been shown to Arsenal. And I saw Arsenal being favoured in the Champions League.”
However, PSG went on to win the title, bringing Prophet Uche under public scrutiny. In a video circulating on social media, the preacher challenged critics to review his prophetic record, insisting that his predictions have consistently come to pass.
According to him, claims that he is a false prophet are unfounded, as his prophecies can be independently verified.
He stated: “When we prophesy, listen carefully to what is being said. Some of you are talking nonsense. I dare you to go and track all my prophecies. Everything I have said has come to pass. Check them, and you will see who a true prophet is.”
The cleric also took the opportunity to make another bold prediction, declaring that Spain will win the next FIFA World Cup.
“I have already told you that Spain will win the World Cup. I will even give score predictions for every match. When I am on the pulpit, I am not the Uche you know,” he added.
His remarks come amid heightened scrutiny over several of his recent prophecies, including predictions related to football matches and the deaths of public figures.
