“I miss them” – Regina Daniels shares update about her children

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her children with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, while also sharing her deep desire to one day have a daughter.

The actress made the revelations during a conversation with TikTok content creator Jarvis inside a car shortly after her Children’s Day carnival held on May 27, 2026.

Speaking about her children, Regina admitted that she misses them dearly and revealed that the last time she saw them was last year.

“Yeah, of course I miss them. But I know I’ll see them soon, by God’s grace, Insha’Allah. I saw them last year. They’re doing well. My first child will turn six this year, while my second will be four. My little boy has even lost his baby teeth,” she shared.

Regina also reflected on motherhood, revealing that although she once ruled out the idea of having a daughter, she now strongly hopes to have one someday.

According to the actress, she has mentally moved away from the idea of marriage, but her desire to raise a girl remains strong because she believes motherhood feels different with a daughter.

“For some reason, I’ve checked my mind out of getting married. But I still want a girl child. I feel like you understand motherhood better when you have a daughter,” she said.

The actress further spoke about the differences between raising boys and girls, explaining that boys often look up to their fathers as role models, while girls tend to model themselves after their mothers.

“It’s easier raising boys because they usually have their father as a role model. But with girls, you have to personally become the example they look up to,” she explained.

Regina added that while men often grow up and focus on building their own families, women usually remain emotionally connected to their homes and families throughout life.

“Men grow up, get married, and focus on building their own families. But women will always remember home no matter what,” she added.
