DJ Slim has dared popular Ghanaian actor, musician, comedian, and entrepreneur Kwadwo Nkansah to fill the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi if he believes he is truly capable.

Renowned Ghanaian comedian and actor Dr. Likee made history on May 22, 2026, after headlining and selling out the 2,700-capacity Indigo at The O2 in London. The comedy concert featured several notable personalities from the entertainment industry, including Nana Ama McBrown, Emelia Brobbey, and Akwasi Boadi, among others. The event also had a surprise performance from Stonebwoy and has since attracted widespread praise from the public.

However, Lilwin later claimed that Dr. Likee was not capable of single-handedly funding the event and alleged that he knew the individual who financed the program.

Reacting to the comments in an interview, DJ Slim described Lilwin as a bitter person within the Kumawood industry who is trying to downplay Dr. Likee’s achievements and success. According to him, Dr. Likee should ignore Lilwin and continue focusing on his growth.

“It’s only him. He has become bitter. A lot of people have spoken about this already, but will he even listen to us? If I have anything to say, it is to Dr. Likee — he shouldn’t concern himself with Lilwin. In this world, a person determined to bring you down will do so no matter how much you impress them. Run your race. Being the fourth in Africa and the first in Ghana to fill the O2 Indigo is enough to secure your legacy forever,” he said.

DJ Slim further stated that Lilwin cannot organize a comedy special on the same level as Dr. Likee’s event. He challenged Lilwin to first fill the Prempeh Assembly Hall and later the KNUST CCB Auditorium if he truly believes he has that level of influence.

“I am daring Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin. Filling the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi will even be difficult for him. He has lost it. He cannot organize such an event. Let him prove me wrong by organizing a show at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi. After that, he should move to the KNUST CCB Auditorium so we can see whether he is truly capable… He will eventually resort to free entry because, without that, no one will attend,” DJ Slim stated.

Addressing Lilwin’s claims that the show was funded by an external sponsor, DJ Slim argued that even if sponsorship was involved, it only proves Dr. Likee’s value and popularity.

“We have accepted that even if someone sponsored him, the sponsor is not foolish. The sponsor saw the importance of choosing Dr. Likee over Lilwin because the public loves him,” he added.

According to DJ Slim, Dr. Likee’s achievement was not just about hosting a successful event but also about building a lasting brand that future generations can inherit. He accused Lilwin of failing to build similar opportunities for others.

“He did not achieve all this alone; he created brands. Mention one brand Kwadwo Nkansah has built or supported. Even at your peak, who were you able to support financially?” he questioned.

Meanwhile, Papa Kumasi has already dismissed claims that external individuals funded Dr. Likee’s show. According to him, Dr. Likee personally financed the event after selling his car.

“Aka Ebenezer had to sell his car. I have said it on many occasions. Why would he sell his car just to organize this huge program? Some people think it’s a joke. If anyone believes we are lying, they should come out and say they sponsored the event and we failed to acknowledge them. It doesn’t make sense for someone to sponsor a show and for us to deny it,” he explained.
