Ghanaian actress, Clara Benson, popularly known as Maame Serwaa, has revealed plans to undergo a cosmetic procedure on her breasts.

In an interview on UTV, the young actress disclosed that she has never undergone any surgical enhancement. According to her, she maintains her body naturally through regular exercise and a proper diet routine.

She further stated that if she ever decides to undergo any cosmetic procedure, it would be solely for her breasts.

She said: “If I ever have a cosmetic procedure, it will be for my boobs.”

According to the actress, the reason behind her decision is that she has been experiencing persistent back pain for some time now.

“I want to reduce them because they give me back pain. I am young, and the back pain is too much. So for now, that is what I’m focusing on. If I undergo any procedure, it will purposely be for that reason,” she explained.

Addressing the severity of the pain and how it influenced her decision to consider breast reduction surgery, Maame Serwaa clarified that the pain is not extremely severe. However, she believes she is too young to be dealing with such discomfort, especially since she has not given birth yet.

She also mentioned that she constantly has to wear a brassiere in everything she does instead of being comfortable without one.

She stated: “It is not so severe that I can’t do anything, but I feel that at twenty-seven years old, and without having given birth yet, I shouldn’t be experiencing such back pain. Aside from that, I always have to wear a bra in everything I do. It’s tiring.”

According to Serwaa: “The procedure will be for my own good.”

The issue of the risks associated with cosmetic procedures such as breast enlargement or reduction, hip and buttocks enhancement, and facial cosmetic surgery continues to generate discussions daily.
