A nurse at Ofori Panin Senior High School in the Eastern Region, identified as Eddie Cann, has been found dead by the roadside at Akyem Kukurantumi in the Abuakwa North Municipality.

The incident occurred at Kukurantumi Junction, opposite a washing bay, where the victim was discovered lying motionless at about 2:00 a.m. on Friday. His motorbike was found close to his body.

Police officers were quickly deployed to the scene, where they secured the area and conducted initial investigations before the body was conveyed to the hospital for further examination.

It is currently unclear whether the deceased was involved in a road accident or if foul play contributed to his death.

The police have since launched investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
