The Ghana Police Service has arrested 49-year-old John Kwabena Owusu Ansah in connection with a viral video in which he threatened High Court judge Justice Patricia Quansah.
The arrest was carried out on Thursday, March 27, 2026, in an intelligence-led operation at his hideout in Antoakrom, Ashanti Region.
According to a statement from the Police, the video contained threats, abusive language, and baseless allegations accusing Justice Quansah of criminal conduct, raising serious concerns about her safety and the integrity of the judiciary.
Officers from the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team conducted the arrest after a period of monitoring and investigation.
The suspect is currently in police custody assisting with investigations and is expected to appear in court in due course.
