The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has officially declared a suspect, identified as Hoyeefi, wanted in connection with a series of violent robberies across the Ahafo Region.
Investigations indicate that Hoyeefi is allegedly the mastermind behind a string of coordinated attacks, including a major incident on December 2, 2025.
A press release issued on February 1, 2026, by Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo revealed that the gang targeted institutions in Nkaseim and its surrounding areas, including Nkaseim Police Station, Adwumapa Cocoa Buying Company, Kobby Gold Buying Company, and Asutifi Rural Bank.
The Police Service has announced a GH¢50,000 reward for credible information that directly leads to Hoyeefi’s arrest. Members of the public with information about his whereabouts are urged to report to the nearest police station or call the emergency hotlines: 191, 112, or 18555.
