President John Dramani Mahama has departed Accra for the United Kingdom to hold strategic meetings with coordinators of the Accra Reset Initiative.
The trip, which began on Sunday, January 11, 2025, was confirmed in a statement issued by the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.
Following his engagements in the UK, President Mahama will travel to Davos, Switzerland, where he is scheduled to participate in a session of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
According to the statement, the President will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with global leaders on the margins of the Davos Forum. These discussions are expected to focus on strengthening Ghana’s international relations and advancing key priorities within the country’s development agenda.
