The Concerned Drivers Association of Ghana has awarded President John Dramani Mahama a perfect score of 100% for his performance in the transport sector during his first year in office.
Speaking at a press conference, Paa Willie, President of the Association, commended President Mahama for fulfilling his promise to complete roads started by the previous NPP government.
“The president has done a great job on our roads, and we can’t ignore that,” Paa Willie said. He highlighted the construction of major roads across the country as a notable achievement.
Paa Willie also praised the government for keeping fuel prices stable during the Christmas season, unlike the previous NPP government which saw prices hike. “For the first time in history, fuel prices dropped during Christmas,” he noted.
The drivers’ group also acknowledged the government’s efforts in stabilizing the economy, citing the improved value of the cedi against the dollar and reduced prices of essential commodities like oil and rice.
