The Salaga-South Constituency leadership, led by the Chairman on behalf of MP Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, met with Kulibu Wura, a traditional leader in Makongo, to discuss the proposed Makongo-Salaga Private Passenger Transport Transit Project.
The project aims to develop ferry terminals, docking facilities, and vessel operations, enhancing transportation safety and boosting local commerce.
Yiram Kulibu Wura responded with profound excitement, noting that as a traditional leader, his daily prayer is for meaningful development for his people.
He pledged support for the project, which is expected to stimulate economic growth in the Makongo-Salaga corridor. Lamar Marine Services Ltd. will execute the project.
