The Minister of Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has announced that the Ministry will no longer accept manual transactions after December 15, as part of efforts to enhance efficiency and transparency.
This announcement was made during the launch of the Ministry’s online service portal, aimed at providing Ghanaian citizens with easy access to information and services.
The portal which will start on December 15, 2025, is part of the government’s national digital transformation agenda.
At the launch, Minister Mubarak emphasized the importance of digitalization in national development, stating that the portal will improve service delivery, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen citizen engagement.
The portal is expected to provide seamless communication between citizens and the ministry, reducing bureaucracy and promoting transparency.
The launch of the portal aligns with the government’s vision of creating an inclusive digital economy, where public services are accessible, transparent, and responsive to the needs of every Ghanaian.
The Ministry of Interior’s digital transformation is expected to drive national development, improve national security, public safety, and protect citizens’ rights.
