The Ghana Police Service has arrested a woman featured in a viral video for physically assaulting a man.

The apprehension was carried out by the IGP’s Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team on Wednesday, November 27, 2025.

The suspect, Esther Nana Afia Sarfowaa, was arrested at Subriso in the Ahafo Ano North Constituency of the Ashanti Region. A second suspect, Stephen Ofori, was also taken into custody at Nkawie in connection with the incident.

Authorities have indicated that three other individuals involved in the assault remain at large, with ongoing efforts to apprehend them.

The Ghana Police Service has assured the public that all those implicated in the assault will be brought to justice.
