Nasty C Picks Black Sherif, Kwesi Arthur and Vic Mensa as His Top Ghanaian Rappers

South African rapper Nasty C has revealed his list of top Ghanaian artistes, placing Black Sherif at the very top.

He went on to mention Kwesi Arthur, followed by US-based Ghanaian rapper Vic Mensa and Shatta Wale.

Nasty C shared his picks during an interview on Joy Prime’s Changes with Roselyn Felli when asked to name his top three favourite Ghanaian rappers.

“At the moment, I’ll have to put Black Sherif up there as number 1. There’s something about his music that just speaks to me. I’m going to put Kwesi Arthur at number two. At number three, I’ll have to say Vic Mensa. Between him and Wale.”

In response to why Sarkodie was excluded, Nasty C stated that although Sarkodie ranks in his top five, he doesn’t place him in his top three.

“He’s definitely in my top five but not top three at the moment.”

Nasty C further cleared the air about his ‘beef’ with Sarkodie in 2022, stating that Sarkodie had misunderstood him.

He expressed his willingness to resolve the issue and reconcile.

“A lot of things got lost in translation. I don’t know if he misunderstood it or someone was in his ear and toning the wrong message but his response to the song that I put out was a little spicy,” he said.
