Ghanaian veteran gospel musician Edward Akwasi Boateng has once again fired back at fellow gospel artiste Broda Sammy following their recent on-air confrontation.
In a video shared on Instagram on October 13, 2025, and sighted by GhanaWeb, the legendary musician warned believers to listen to Broda Sammy’s songs at their own risk.
According to him, Broda Sammy’s music does not align with the teachings of Christ, and as such, true Christians who aspire to make it to heaven should refrain from listening to his songs.
“If you want to go to heaven, you don’t have to listen to his songs. I am only advising believers. I attend his program, but he doesn’t see me,” he said.
Edward Akwasi Boateng’s statement comes in response to a recent radio altercation that ensued between him and Sammy when the veteran musician advised Broda Sammy regarding controversies surrounding his music.
During the conversation, Broda Sammy, who was not pleased with the advice, quizzed the veteran singer, adding that he should equally be mindful of how he talks to him, and that he would not tolerate any form of insult under the guise of advice.
