Musician Kidi has shared that he firmly believes in one-man, one-woman relationships.
Speaking in a Accra-based Asempa FM, KiDi explained that while monogamy aligns with his personal values, he does not intend to impose his beliefs on others, acknowledging that everyone has their own principles and lifestyles that work for them.
He revealed that his perspective on relationships was shaped by his upbringing, having witnessed the strong bond between his parents, who have stayed together and built a solid family foundation.
As a Christian, Kidi added that he draws inspiration from his parents’ enduring marriage, emphasizing that if his father could build a happy home by staying committed to one woman, there is no better example for him to follow.
“Muslims are allowed to marry more than one; Christians are not, so I cannot come and sit here and say the right thing is this. What is right for someone can be wrong for others. Kidi here is a Christian, and I have observed my family, and I believe that what is right is one man, one woman,” he stated while speaking in an interview on Accra-based Asempa FM.
