The Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Subin Constituency, Mrs. Amanda Oppong, has donated books and assorted drinks to pupils as part of efforts to support education in the area.
The donation, made to pupils of TI Amahadyia Basic School Kindergarten and AME Zion Primary A & Kindergarten, coincided with the reopening of schools for the new academic term.

Addressing the media after the presentation, Mrs. Oppong commended teachers for their dedication and urged parents to play a more active role in their children’s education.
“I would like to thank the teachers for accepting our donation. We will extend our hand to other schools in the Subin Constituency that are facing challenges,” she said.

She further encouraged parents to view education as an investment in the future. “If you are able to help even one child to become a doctor, nurse, teacher, or other professional, he or she can assist the family,” she advised.
The head teachers of the beneficiary schools, Maria Adams of TI Amahadyia Basic School KG and Philip Kwabena Gyesi of AME Zion Primary A & KG, expressed their gratitude.
“We thank Madame Oppong and the group for the donation. These items will encourage the kids to come to school. We are praying for more,” they said.
