The Police in the Kwesimintim District of the Western Region have arrested Anthony Acquah for allegedly murdering his 17-year-old brother, Francis Mensah, at Manpong-Pepease, a suburb of Sekondi.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on Saturday, August 16, 2025, around 6:00 p.m., after a misunderstanding between the two brothers escalated. During the confrontation, Anthony Acquah allegedly stabbed Francis Mensah, resulting in his death.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene immediately but was tracked down and arrested on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at his hideout in Kojokrom, near Sekondi.
Anthony Acquah is currently in police custody and assisting with investigations.
