The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to hold its much-anticipated National Delegates Conference tomorrow, bringing together an estimated 6,000 delegates from across the country.
The conference, which is expected to serve as a pivotal moment in the party’s rebuilding efforts, will focus on key issues, particularly proposed amendments to the party’s constitution. These include outstanding proposals from the 2019 conference as well as new suggestions emerging in the aftermath of the 2024 general elections.
Held under the theme “Rebuilding Together with Our Values,” the event will serve as both a reflection on the party’s past and a blueprint for its future direction. The theme underscores the NPP’s commitment to unity, renewal, and the reaffirmation of its core principles.
According to Salam Mohammed Mustapha, the NPP’s National Youth Organiser, the party is determined to re-strategise, rebuild, and work toward a strong return to power.
Preparations are in full gear, with early arrivals of delegates from various regions signalling the high level of enthusiasm and anticipation surrounding the event. Party executives say the conference will be a crucial milestone as the NPP seeks to strengthen its internal structures and position itself for future electoral success.
