Evangelist Mama Pat, formerly known as Nana Agradaa, has been directed by an Accra Circuit Court to reappear on July 30, 2025, in connection with a separate legal case unrelated to her recent 15-year prison sentence for fraud.
The court has ordered her to open her defence in a case involving the alleged unauthorized broadcast of intimate images.
The case was brought by Prophet Appiah, widely known as Osofo Biblical, who accused Mama Pat of airing a video showing him engaged in a sexual act with a married woman—without his consent. The footage was allegedly broadcast on her now-defunct Thunder TV station during her time as a self-proclaimed fetish priestess.
According to the complainant, the act amounted to a serious breach of privacy and personal dignity. He also claimed that he was physically assaulted by individuals connected to Mama Pat during that period.
The court has instructed that Mama Pat be transported from the Nsawam Female Prison, where she is currently serving her 15-year sentence, to attend the hearing on July 30 for what could be the final ruling in the ongoing case.
Following the court session, her legal team confirmed the date and also revealed their intention to appeal her recent conviction and sentencing.
This latest legal development adds to Mama Pat’s growing list of courtroom battles, as she now faces two major cases simultaneously—one involving fraud and another concerning the alleged violation of privacy.
