Reports coming in state that the member of parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has sued controversial US-based journalist, Kelvin Taylor.
Kennedy Agyapong is said to have sued Kelvin Ekow Taylor in Virginia State Court for defamation and for damages worth $15 million. Kelvin Taylor has been given 21 days to respond to the suit in accordance with US Civil procedure rules.
A few weeks ago, Ghanaian content creator based in the United States, Kelvin Taylor has shared insights into the health status of popular politician and businessman, Kennedy Agyapong.
According to Kelvin Taylor, Kennedy Agyapong suffered a minor stroke and had to fly to America to undergo urgent brain surgery. This is after it was rumored that the member of parliament was down with a stroke.
He made this revelation on his show that streams live on Facebook and Youtube. Kelvin said that the Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency now has a scar on his head due to the surgical operation he underwent.
In a new development, Hopeson Adorye has thrown more light on the court issue. According to him, Kelvin Taylor got the writ on Thursday so he suspended his show to date. He also stated that all his tapes about Kennedy have been taken to the UN, the institute of linguistics in Ghana, and another center in the US to transcribe the local language to English.
