The National Organiser of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yamin, has issued a stern warning to government appointees who undermine or disrespect party executives.
He stated that any appointee who disregards NDC executives will face disciplinary action as a deterrent to others who might let power influence their behavior negatively.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Yamin addressed NDC party executives, urging them to report any appointee who treats them with contempt so that appropriate measures can be taken.
“Let us have calm in the party. It is only when we are being cheated that we must rise up. We are the chief protesters; we will lead the campaign. We have to discipline some people in the party. Government appointees who overlook party executives, we will deal with them. That one we can assure you.
“Any government appointee who disrespects or overlooks the interests of the people who made him who he is, we will deal with that person. If you go there and a government appointee disrespects you, doesn’t give you a hearing, please come to us and tell us. We will make sure that person pays for that,” the outspoken politician said.
