The National Organiser of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yamin, has issued a strong warning to government appointees who disregard or disrespect party executives, stating that such actions will not be tolerated.
In a video shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Yamin addressed NDC party executives, emphasizing that any appointee who fails to recognize the authority of party leaders will face disciplinary action. He stressed that this measure is necessary to prevent officials from becoming disconnected from the party’s grassroots.
“We must maintain unity within the party. The only time we should rise in protest is when we are being treated unfairly. We are the chief protesters, and we will lead the charge,” Yamin stated.
He further assured party executives that any government official who ignores them will face consequences. “Appointees who overlook the contributions of those who helped them rise to power will be dealt with. If you encounter a government official who disrespects you or refuses to engage with you, report it to us. We will ensure that person is held accountable,” he warned.
Yamin’s remarks highlight the party’s commitment to ensuring harmony between its leadership and government officials while reinforcing the role of party executives in governance.
