Retired lecturer of Ghana Technology University College Accra campus who is also the Chief of Krom- Adwafo in the Bosomtwe District of Ashanti Region, Professor Nana Osei Piesie Anthoh has stated his stands on the passage of Anti LGBTQI bill.
According to him, he supports the statement from the speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin that, the ballots of Anti LGBTQI will be publicized.
Speaking to Oyerepa online reporter, Nana Yaw Peprah he said, Ghanaians have our culture and that makes us different from other countries. He added that the Ghanaian culture frown on LGBTQI. Also, all our three major religions are in support of it.
The Chief mentioned that polygamy is not accepted in Europe but we accept it here and they accept LGBTQI which we don’t support. As result, we should not let them use any means to convince us to fight against our traditional values.
He added that, the public ballots will help the individuals to know the stands of their MPs and decide whether to vote for them again or never.
Nana Anthoh also advised anyone who has an interest in the abominable act to desist from it as it will end the Ghanaian generation.
He further advised the youth to despise claims that they will get rich if they are involved in LGBTQI.
