A lifeless body of a man believed to be in his early 40s was found on the Offinso-Techiman road in the Ashanti Region in the early hours of Monday, February 3, 2025.
The discovery was made around 5:30 a.m., with authorities later identifying the deceased as Atambire Atambire through a voter’s ID card found in his possession.
The body has since been deposited at the Abofour First Class Mortuary as police work to establish contact with the deceased’s family.
Initial reports suggest that Atambire may have been the victim of a hit-and-run accident.
The police have commenced an investigation to identify the driver involved and determine the exact cause.
Authorities have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.
