It was a somber moment as the popular presenter with Promise Broadcasting Limited, Nana Asante Soaba, was laid to rest alongside his father.
Nana Asante Soaba, known for his popular evening program Mpanin Atenase on Oyerepa FM, tragically passed away on the evening of January 21, 2025, after a long battle with illness.
Upon hearing the news of his son’s passing, the 80-year-old father, Mr. Ahmed Owuse Abudlie, was unable to bear the heart-wrenching loss and also passed away.
Both father and son were laid to rest together at Ejisu, as per the family’s wishes.
As staunch members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, the family scheduled to bury the presenter and his father together on the same day.
Hundreds of sympathizers gathered at the inland park at Ejisu to pay their last respects to the departed soul Nana Asante Soaba and his father.
Nana Asante Soaba died at age 54; he left behind a wife and 6 children.
