Ghana’s president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will deliver the State of the Nation Address (SONA) today, January 3, 2024.
Ghana’s constitution enshrines his final address: Article 67 of 1992, constitution, and serves as a concluding report on the nation’s status before the president vacates office.
The President is envisioned to deliver a fair knowledge of the economy’s state and account for his stewardship when he leaves office.
The address will be presented in the Chamber of Parliament at exactly 10 am.
