The parliamentary candidate for Offinso North Constituency, Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, has donated over 3500 machines to the constituency as part of his campaign promises. The machines, which include sewing machines, drying machines, pumping machines, and welding machines, are aimed at empowering the youth and promoting economic growth in the area.
During the donation ceremony, Dr. Kyei Asamoah expressed his gratitude to President Nana Akuffo Addo and his running mate, Dr. Alhaji Mamudu Bawumia, for appointing him as the Director in charge of TVET. He emphasized the importance of technical and vocational education in developing the country, citing the examples of developed nations that have achieved greatness through their focus on craft works such as the USA, France, and many other countries.
Dr. Kyei Asamoah encouraged the masters and apprentices to take their work seriously. He urged the masters to treat their apprentices with kindness and respect. He also advised the apprentices to obey their masters, listen to their advice, and work diligently to achieve greatness.
