Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), firmly believes that Ghana requires a visionary leader who is capable of thinking big and possesses the confidence and determination to turn those dreams into reality.
He is convinced that he embodies all these qualities and is the ideal leader for the people of Ghana in the present day.
Dr. Bawumia expressed these sentiments during his recent visits to the Saboba, Mion, and Tamale Central Constituencies on Saturday.
As he interacted with the local communities, he emphasized the importance of having a leader who is in touch with the needs of the people and is committed to bringing about positive change.
In addition to his vision for the future of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia also highlighted the rich culinary heritage of the country.
He believes that Ghanaian cuisine has the potential to showcase the diversity and vibrancy of the nation to the rest of the world. By promoting and celebrating traditional recipes, he hopes to not only preserve the cultural identity of Ghana but also boost the local economy through culinary tourism.
“Throughout my interactions with traditional authorities, religious leaders, Identifiable Groups including the youth, and ordinary persons on the streets, in markets, lorry stations and wherever they may be, my message has been consistent: At this stage of Ghana’s development, she requires a visionary leader in tune with the times, capable of dreaming big and with the confidence and conviction to see it through,” he said.
Adding that “I submit that I am such a leader, ready to move Ghana into the fast-paced 21st Century world”.
He urged the people of Ghana to step out and vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) come December 7, 2024 saying “I urge everyone to make a decisive choice on December 7 by electing a servant leader brimming with new ideas and bold solutions for Ghana’s challenges”.
