North Tongu Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has reaffirmed his commitment to holding those in power accountable, regardless of which party is in government.
During a conversation with Kwesi Parker Wilson on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Mr. Ablakwa stated that he will continue to embark on exposés if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wins the upcoming 2024 general election.
Mr. Ablakwa has been known for his high-profile exposés, including the National Cathedral project, the Ambulance Spare parts deal, and the distribution of spoiled rice to Senior High School students during the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
Despite concerns that he may become less vocal if his party assumes power, Ablakwa has reassured the public that his commitment to transparency and accountability remains unwavering.
His stance is likely to be welcomed by many who see him as a champion of good governance and a fierce critic of corruption.
As Ghana prepares for the 2024 elections, Ablakwa’s promise to continue his exposés is a significant development. It underscores his dedication to promoting transparency and accountability in government, regardless of which party is in power.
