Ga Mantse, His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has passionately appealed to Ghana’s Electoral Commission to uphold transparency throughout the electoral process.
His Royal Majesty Ga Mantse emphasized the importance of free and fair elections, he stressed that every single vote must count on election day.
In his address at the launch of the Blueprint for Sustainable Global Peace Accra International Conference Center AICC, the revered Traditional Ruler underscored the significance of respecting rights and privileges as the cornerstone of peace.
He added that, peace cannot be imposed or merely desired, it must be cultivated through respect of rights and privileges truth and the awakening of deeper purpose of people. “Peace can’t be forced or simply wished for; it requires cultivation through mutual respect, truth, and a deeper understanding of people’s purpose.”
The Ga Mantse’s plea echoes the Electoral Commission’s own values of transparency, fairness, and integrity. With the 2024 elections approaching, this call to action serves as a timely reminder of the importance of democratic principles.
