An independent presidential candidate, Alan Kyerematen, has declared his intention to review the Free SHS Policy if elected as president in the upcoming election.
The Free SHS Policy was introduced by the current government and aims to provide accessible education to all Ghanaian students.
However, its implementation has faced criticisms and challenges, including concerns about quality, funding, and infrastructure.
Many Ghanaians, including the former finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta, have called on the government to review the Free SHS policies.
Meanwhile, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has assured its commitment to review the Free SHS policy.
Speaking in interviews with Kwesi Parker Wilson on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, the leader of Movement for Change, asserted that the Free SHS is a good policy but needs to be reviewed.
