Multiple award-winning gospel singer, songwriter, philanthropist, producer, TV presenter, and author, Sonnie Badu has disclosed that it is difficult getting sponsors for gospel events in Ghana
While speaking in an interview with Kingdom FM, Sonnie Badu stated that he has never made a profit from any event he has organized in Ghana before.
According to him, most of the sponsors will promise to sponsor your shows but will fail to deliver at the end.
“I have never done an event and made a profit. I always run at a loss but I am satisfied. It’s a seed I’m sowing. If I don’t benefit from this, my children will benefit. I don’t do events with the notion that I will make profits. I run at a loss and I am used to it”, Sonnie Badu disclosed.
While explaining further, the International Gospel Musician disclosed that he always runs at a loss and does not benefit from it irrespective of the strategies adopted to cut losses.
He added that he knows his actions are like seeds he is planting which will benefit his children in future.
According to the gospel artist, he always sells some personal properties to fund most of his shows, and other expenses directed to the post productions.
