Pilot Queen Princess Duncan, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited and board member of COA Global Peace Mission who doubles as the Nkosuahemaa of Fante Sekyredumasi Traditional Area, bearing the stool name Nana Akua Ahenesima I, has donated 50 bags of cement and a cash price of GH¢ 10,000 to the New Life Nungua Children’s Home today (November, 13, 2024).
The donation was made on her behalf by Beyonce Diamond Kpogli, as part of the queen’s many ways of giving back to society, most especially the underprivileged as she markes her birthday celebration.
In her message, Pilot Queen Princess Duncan indicated that giving back to society is something dear to her heart.
“I believe that there are more blessings in giving than receiving, and we must not all that we desire before giving back to the underprivileged.
“Everyone wishes to be privileged in many things but having a life and giving a portion of what you have to society is the greatest gift ever”, she said.
Nii Afotey Botswe the founder of the orphanage home, expressed his appreciation for the kind gesture and prayed for Pilot Queen Princess Duncan to excel in all her endeavours.
“Nanahemaa, thank you so much, on behalf of myself, the board of elders and the children, we say thank you, may God bless you, give you a long life and bless everything that you do.
“Your ways and your household, you will live and fulfil your purpose on earth, as you remember us today, may you also be remembered whatsoever you have to be remembered for”, he prayed.
He noted that the donation would go a long way to support the home. He seized the moment to call on the public to support the orphanage with a borehole due to water crises for the past weeks.
