Renowned Ghanaian rapper, Pope Skinny, has openly stated his willingness to accept financial support from politicians in exchange for his vote in the upcoming December 7 elections.
In a bold move following the ban on musicians promoting alcoholic products, Pope Skinny has made it clear that he is open to considering offers from politicians with appreciation.
“I’ve not been given any money so far by any politician but I’m waiting for who will bring it but if they bring it I will take it, I mean any party that brings it I’ll gladly accept.
“If they say they won’t allow us to do adverts for alcoholic beverages and a politician brings me money I will gladly take it,” he told Amansan Krakye as sighted by MyNewsGh.com
“I’m still waiting for any politician that brings me money so that I will take it and support them because all the major parties are saying the same thing,” he added.
He continued “When they’re voted into power it’s only one thing that they do so if they’ll bring something small for me to vote then take it but if you get there you know what to do”.
