The former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has raised concerns about the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) efforts to encourage young Ghanaians to enter the poultry industry.
He recalled how the political party had mocked him when he proposed investing in poultry to motivate the youth to pursue careers in agriculture. However, he was surprised to see the NPP now making similar promises to the young people of Ghana.
“That is why I say that the NPP is consistently the most inconsistent political party. They are consistently inconsistent. Something that they have been teasing as not being viable, they are now saying they are going to implement it,” he said while addressing a rally in the Oti Region.
In their constitution, they have said that they are property owners. They are a party that comes to government to get properties for themselves and not for the betterment of the people, and that is what they have done in the last five years,” he said.
