A 29-year-old woman, Bernice Asantewaa, has reportedly killed her husband, Kofi Antwi, aged 35, at Abuakwa-Abakomadi in the Ashanti Region.
Bernice is said to have committed the crime following an argument over her alleged infidelity.
Accra-based Rainbow Radio reported that the deceased had received several threats upon his return from a business trip.
A brother of the deceased, Joseph Acheampong, claimed that Kofi was warned to leave the marriage as Bernice’s infidelity was creating problems for him, but he ignored the advice.
During the heated argument, both Kofi and Bernice sustained injuries after being stabbed, but Kofi succumbed to his injuries and lost his life.
Bernice is currently undergoing treatment at Suntreso Government Hospital, while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) mortuary awaiting autopsy.
