Bishop Samuel Kwame Denoo, an independent parliamentary candidate for the Amasaman constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has taken a significant step towards empowering his community by organizing a fully funded skills development training program at ICGC church premises in the Amasaman.
This initiative has equipped over 400 participants with valuable skills in producing liquid soap, Omo, and other essential products. He aims to empower individuals to create job opportunities and contribute to the local economy.
Bishop Denoo emphasized the importance of skills training and economic empowerment. His motto, “job and cash,” highlights the need for constituents to acquire skills and training to secure employment and create jobs for themselves.
The primary objective of this training is to enable the unemployed and youth to become self-dependent, fostering economic growth and development within the community. By providing these skills, Bishop Denoo aims to address the pressing issue of unemployment and promote entrepreneurship.
According to him, some individuals have already acquired skills training but lack the necessary capital to start their businesses. To address this challenge, he has pledged to provide financial assistance to help these entrepreneurs establish their ventures and generate income.
Bishop Denoo’s efforts are particularly noteworthy, considering his constituents’ concerns about unemployment, infrastructure, and healthcare. By tackling these issues head-on, he has shown that he is dedicated to creating positive change.
The participants hailed Bishop Denoo’s Initiative as Life-Changing. They described the training as a good initiative as it has equipped them with the skills needed to be financially independent.
