Gospel singer Piesie Esther has shared a humorous anecdote about her initial misunderstanding of social media.
According to her, she once believed it was created by a mythical being called “Maame Water” and assumed it would have negative consequences.
However, in a recent interview with Adom FM, She has since discovered its benefits for communication, business, and her music career.
“We always heard the negative side of social media… At first, I thought social media was for Maame Water when it became so popular.
“But eventually, I realised it’s now a part of our lives and far from what we thought, so everyone has to embrace it to help their ministry or business. Things have changed now, and it was not like how people perceived things in the past,” she stated.
The Mo hitmaker added that as she learned more about social media and technology, she saw its potential to support growth in both personal and professional spheres.
Piesie Esther is gearing up for the third edition of her annual ‘Made By Grace’ concert scheduled for Sunday, November 3, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Artistes who will be performing are Amy Newman, Nana Yaw Asare, Ohemaa Mercy, Ceccy Twum, Perez Musik and Sammy Baah.
