One person has been confirmed dead with others receiving treatment after a gory accident on the Obuasi-Kwapia road in the Ashanti region.
The accident occurred around 1:45 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
According to reports, a Dodge vehicle with registration number WR 810-S upon reaching a section of the road at Dadwen veered off his lane and collided with an oncoming Ford transit bus with registration number AS 4116- 4 driven by Emmanuel Manu 28-years-old with 11 passengers on board.
Occupants in both vehicles sustained various degrees of injuries and they were rushed to Obuasi Government Hospital for treatment.
The body of the deceased was deposited at the same hospital morgue pending investigations.
This follows an accident exactly a week today that claimed 13 lives and left scores injured.
