Ghanaian comic actor, Dr. Likee, also known as Akabenezer, has set the record straight regarding his acting career.
In a recent interview with Poleeno Multimedia, Dr. Likee addressed speculation surrounding his potential retirement from the movie industry.
Contrary to rumors, Dr. Likee emphatically denied plans to retire, stating that he is still actively engaged in acting and collaborating with fellow actors on new projects.
He reassured fans that his passion for comedy and filmmaking remains unwavering, and he continues to be dedicated to his craft.
He said, “We are working. I haven’t started today, but I am still working.” He also shared his thoughts about his brother, gospel musician Broda Sammy’s latest song, “Ebebam.”
He praised Broda Sammy for his musical exploits and acknowledged the song’s unique and compelling message.
Dr. Likee recently made headlines after hinting at retirement from the movie industry in an interview following his return from the UK with his protégé, Kyekyeku. The comic actor expressed frustration with the attitudes of some of his protégés, who do not listen to his advice.
Dr. Likee also shared that he had not uploaded any content to his YouTube channel for over a year and emphasized his need to focus on himself.
