Lawrence Asiedu, CEO of Fisher Man Fish in Kumasi, has urged Ghanaians to adopt Integrated Farming practices to alleviate financial burdens and promote good health.
At an Integrated Farming workshop organised by Agric and Health and Fisher Man Fish, Mr Asiedu emphasized the importance of farming for all individuals.
He highlighted the benefits of smart farming, including rearing fish, snails, and growing mushrooms at home, which can generate income and ensure a healthy diet.
Asiedu noted that the destruction of water bodies due to galamsey (illegal mining) makes Integrated Farming a necessary alternative.
Mrs. Florence Danso Asiedu, Founder of Agric and Health, explained that her organization aimed to equip people in the Northern Sector with knowledge on Integrated Farming.
She encouraged the youth to explore employment opportunities in agriculture to reduce financial struggles.
