GA Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has declared that the Greater Accra Region will be a crucial factor in determining the outcome of the 2024 elections in Ghana.
The King made this significant statement when Nana Kwame Bediako, the leader of the New Force Movement paid a courtesy call on him to seek his permission and blessings ahead of his tour of the Greater Accra region.
Stressing the importance of the upcoming election, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II described it as the most critical election in the history of the 4th Republic and called for a peaceful electoral process.
“This year’s election, Accra will decide, Accra will decide and I want to say that it is the most important election in the whole of the 4th Republic, but we need to understand that we are Ghanaians and we need to understand that we must restrain ourselves from being used to hurt each other.
The Ga Mantse also called for peaceful and respectful campaigning, stressing the importance of unity and cooperation among all political parties.
He encouraged citizens to participate actively in the electoral process, to ensure that their voices are heard and their votes count.
The leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako promised to foster peace and unity through his campaign.
President of the International Kickboxing Federation (IKF), Ahmed Ibrahim, after confirming his appointment, said, “It’s a privilege that we, as a Federation, give Patrick Afenu such an opportunity. He is passionate about his job, and we are convinced that he will bring his expertise on board to help grow this Federation.
He is not only one for the future but also to help us grow today and into the future. We believe his expertise will guide the Federation to the top without a doubt. He will travel to Europe to acquire standard international training to further assist our Federation, of which we are proud.
We welcome him and believe that with his expertise, the Federation will acquire all that we have been missing.
Patrick spoke, saying, “I’m grateful to IKF and all combatant sports. I am here for everyone and am ready to help all combatant sports, including colleagues in Europe.
With the experience gained, I will ensure that everyone involved focuses on my appointment. With confidence, I can say that all combatant sports will work perfectly.”
