The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Nkwanta South Constituency, Hajia Sherifa Sekyere-Tijani has extended a helping hand to the residents of Dawa Akura, a community in the Nkwanta South Municipal of the Oti Region after listening to their plight.
The PC who doubles as Deputy Managing Director of State Housing Company led the team yesterday Tuesday 16th April 2024 to the location, financed and facilitated the drilling of bole hole at Dawa Akura.
The Residents were full of joy and they expressed their joy upon seeing them.
Hajia Sherifa Sekyere-Tijani who also is the Deputy Managing Director for the State Housing Company pledged her unflinching support to them anytime they call on her.
According to her she is always available to help Nkwanta South Municipality because they have been under NDC for long but yet the municipality is not developing and it is something that is disturbing her.
Sheriffa Sekyere Tijani added that Nkwanta south constituency is the biggest constituency in Oti Region but the people in the municipality are still very hungry and thirsty because all the MPs that come and go have all disappointed the people of the area
She said that’s why she is coming to contest as MP so that the Nkwanta south story can be changed.
