Founder and Leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Kwasi Adai, popularly known as ‘Odike’ has urged Ghanaians to overlook 2024 National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer aspirant, John Dramani Mahama in the polls as according to him, he has no better policies to develop Ghana.
Speaking in a recent interview, Odike said former President Mahama is never an alternate to an otherwise incompetence Akfuo-Addo insisting he has not provided any policies that can transform Ghana.
“If you are unhappy with Akufo-Addo, then never think of John Mahama because he is never the alternative to Akufo-Addo…he has no better policies to transform the fortunes of this country…,” he told host, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah.
To him, the failure of the NDC to explain the 24-hour economy which the NDC claims to it’s major policy for the 2024 elections shows that the party is not just ready to govern Ghana once more.
“Look at what Asiedu Nketiah said about the 24-hour economy, that persons who apply to work at night will be given incentives…he is simply telling people to stop working during the day and rather opt to work at night and that is simply a no go area…,” he said.
The business mongul further appealed to Ghanaian voters who are aggrieved with the NPP government to buy into the union government policy of the UPP which he sees as the magic wand to change the fortunes of Ghana,
“Union Government is the way to go…we will launch out policy framework during this February and you can be assured of great ideas to turn the fortunes of Ghana…,” he said.
