Rev. Adu-Sarpong, the Head Pastor of the Assemblies of God Kingdom of Glory Worship Center in Sokoban, Greater Kumasi, is urging the government to provide support to local industries in order to expand the production of local products for consumption.
The pastor made this call during the Traditional Service day at the Assemblies of God Kingdom of Glory Worship Center on Sunday, December 24th, 2023.
According to him, it is high time that Ghanaians, especially Christians, started to prioritize the use of locally manufactured products. This can be achieved if the government supports food companies in producing more local products.
Rev. Adu-Sarpong also emphasized the significant role that Christians have in the fight against illegal mining, known as galamsey. He stated that the fight cannot be solely carried out by the government, and Christians at the grassroots level must make an effort to assist in conquering galamsey.
