Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed his belief that his victory in the presidential primary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is divinely guided.
Dr. Bawumia shared these sentiments after casting his vote in the ongoing NPP presidential primary.
Today, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, delegates from the NPP across the country are participating in the crucial task of electing a flagbearer for the party in the upcoming 2024 elections. A significant number of 203,439 delegates are expected to exercise their voting rights in all 276 constituencies nationwide.
Dr. Bawumia is among the four candidates vying for the esteemed NPP flagbearer position. The other candidates include Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and Francis Addai-Nimoh.
Dr. Bawumia said he is confident of beating the other candidates soundly in the flagbearership race.
