A Senior editor of the Informer Newspaper Andy Kamkam has questioned politicians why Ghana is still borrowing after been blessed with the numerous resources as a country.
According to the editor, weak governance and corruption have undermined poverty alleviation efforts in Ghana.
The mismanagement of resources by politicians in this country have contributed greatly to the economic woes of Ghana now, he added.
In a discussion on Oyerepa Breakfast Show Monday, Kamkam made it clear that the actions and inactions of our politicians have caused the underdevelopment of Ghana despite been blessed with all the numerous resources as a country.
He explained how these resources have been under utilized which could have prevented Ghama from seeking loans and other assistance from other countries.
“Over 50 years of independence and all that God has blessed us with what have we been able to achieve so far nothing to show” he quizzed.
Adding that it’s about time we make conscious efforts to combat this issue and our politicians need to know that Ghana is not their property and they can not treat it as such .
