Gospel musician cum Pastor, Isaac Forson, has been accused by his biological daughter of being involved in the death of his own wife.
The incident occurred last Friday on Oyerepa Afutuo. Abigail Forson claimed that her father, Pastor Isaac Forson, who is the founder and leader of True Faith Miracle Worship Centre in Amapayo, Kumasi, poisoned his wife due to his relationship with his second wife, Akose.
Abigail said, on the verge of her late mother [Evelyn Pokua’s] death, she pointed out, “Your father has killed me”.
Abigail pleaded with her father to tell the truth, but he adamantly denied any involvement in the death of Evelyn Pokua. The matter was subsequently brought to the attention of the Kumasi Central Police Station for a thorough investigation, leading to the arrest of Pastor Forson. However, he was later released.
Abigail and her uncle, speaking on Oyerepa Afutuo, revealed that the police had ceased their investigation into the case. This raised suspicions that Pastor Forson would not face any consequences for his actions. Consequently, they decided to seek assistance from Oyerepa Afutuo.
In an attempt to shed light on the situation, Pastor Forson was summoned to answer questions on live TV, however, he evaded the allegations by stating that the police were still actively investigating the case.
In a recent development, the alleged murderer has confessed to having a role in his wife’s demise. During a family gathering over the weekend, the family of the late Evelyn Pokuaa reported that the accused killer admitted his involvement.
Meanwhile, the office of Ghana’s Attorney General has received a report on the case, and an investigation is said to be underway.
